Best word to describe would be delightful! No such thing as "perfect" but this cruise came pretty close...because RCCL folks are trying their best to make it that way! Well done RCCL!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Not bad at all, went relatively fast compared to previous cruises...that is IF you have ALL your documentation ready to go when you step up to get it looked at!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
ALL the food on board was great, as usual for RCCL. Main dining room food was fresh, delicious and the folks working the room were very fast and experienced. Same goes for poolside, theaters, bars and the Cafe Promenade! Coffe/tea and a delicious slice of their pizza hit the spot!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Solarium pool was nice, NO KIDS! Always a place to relax in the pool or hot tube....but chairs in the shade were at a premium. Gotta get there early!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Great shows, dancers, singers and comedians, definitely worth going to every night!
Children's Programs
No children with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Again, as usual for RCCL, very good service by our cabin steward, waiter and assistant waiter. Room was always spotless and done between our outings, our food was always servers right on time and exactly what we ordered.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
But....can't we PLEASE do away with ALL smoking in the casino? No matter what you do if you have a room on the 3rd/4th deck it follows you into the cabin! Common RCCL...it's 2022, if they want to smoke, go up on the outside decks!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Exactly what we expected, no more no less. Comfortably mattress and pillows.
Ship tip
Avoid Windjammer at peak times, if you can...later breakfast, later lunch. If you like Hot Dogs, go to the FREE Hot Dog bar next to the main pool, delicious!
Beautiful port, did two excursions (Dockyard Pub tasting - VERY GOOD, terrific host! and night glass bottom boat-I would say don't bother, you don't see much?). Visited the Clocktower mall, great bargains and picked up some rum at the dockside liquor hut.
Not a fan of Nassau, visited way back in the dark ages and the place was a dump with rude people all around. It's certainly better and they are trying to clean it up (LOTS of new buildings going up portside). Went of Nassau boat & bus tour, very well done...nice folks running them, very informative.
Beautiful....MUCH nicer than their "other" private island (Labadee, Haiti)! Great place to get in a final relaxing day, tan a bit, swim in fresh or salt water and just let go!
Because of supposed rocket launch at the Cape...once in a lifetime experience...gangway down at 7AM, cleared by 7:15 and off the boat by 8AM. That will probably never happen again, so we enjoyed getting off so quickly.!
