Review summary

We had a wonderful cruise. The sea days were fun. The islands were really incredible. We took advantage of every hour on the islands, we snorkled, kayaked with One Happy Kayak tours in Aruba. We went to 4 beaches and Shete Boka National Park in Curacao and climbed down the caves in Bonaire as well as shopping and beach. We had a Fab time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I really appreciated the dinning staff. I have food allergies and I can be hard to feed. It was a struggle the first day to figure out where and what I could eat. However they were helpful in most of the dinning options and I had some really nice meals. Chops did an amazing Job I so appreciated the food and the service! I was a little disappointed that the staff didnt seem to have access to the ingredient lists for the food. It was a hassle for them every time I asked. So many restaurants these days have allergen menus I was surprised that RC has done nothing like that.

Fun atmosphere! Entertainment was was top notch and Bar tenders great!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the ships activities. Played some mini golf, lounged by the pool, and played a VR jumping game on the top of the ship. It does not have as much todo as some of the larger ships but we enjoyed what they had available.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the musicians the played in the pub and the schooner bar. Loved the game shows and the funny hosts. The larger shows we saw were okay too

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Joan at the guest service desk was helpful many times during our cruise. All the wait staff that helped me figure out what to eat were great. The bartender Rose always greeted us with a smile when we stopped by the pub after dinner. The staff all works so hard, they were all really wonderful. The staff we had a chance to speak with all seemed really happy with their jobs. I think that makes for a happy ship.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Very clean. Always saw someone cleaning touch points. The ship could use some updating but it was lovely anyway

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We enjoyed our cabin. It was interior with a window over looking promenade. It had two couches one by the window. King bed we put our luggage cases underneath. Vanity with drawers and shelves. Closet with more shelves. Comfortable and clean worked great for us.

Ship tip

The ship is Voyager class and shows a little age, so dont expect an oasis class ship. We had a wonderful time, you get what you put in to it.

Willemstad, Curacao

We adored this island. Rented a car from smart wheels, who were easy to work with and had great prices. Drove up to the the coast to Turtle Beach where you can swim with turtles. Then went to Shete Boka National Park. Its beautiful. Stopped by Kenepa beach Grote knip, it had views that look like a post card. Went and visited the pigs at Poto Mari. Then went and put a lock on the Heart Lock Sculpture by the bridge. Amazing Island

Oranjestad, Aruba

Loved the beaches, the snorkeling and the people. Went on 2 spot snorkel and Bbq excursion. Was a blast. Then rented Kayak tour from One Happy Kayak, they were fantastic. Took us out to sea glass island so we could collect the glass. We found One Happy Kayak on Face book. The beaches are beautiful.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

We took a tour through Viator where a local guide took us into 3 caves. We were able to swim at the bottom of the 3rd cave. It was an amazing experience. The town is cute. We stopped by the brewery in town and did some shopping. Swam in the beautiful turquoise water near the ship before heading back

Disembarkation

It could have been great, if we had the correct information. The paper hand out gave us instructions but at the bottom said follow instructions on channel 2 of your tv. The tv says stay in your room until your group is called ( dont do that.) The right answer was to eat breakfast and get your things out of the room by 8ish. Then go hang out where you can see the numbers being called and leave when it's your turn. Could have been the easiest thing ever if I had been informed.
