Review summary

It was a rough start because our luggages got lost because RCC employees working at the Port Canaveral directed us to the wrong ship and luggages were placed onto Harmony. But it ended up being a pretty good trip. The kids had fun, and we did the best to make the most of our crappy start.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
During embarkation the cruise employees directed us to the incorrect ship and our luggages were placed onto Harmony instead of the Mariner. We didn’t have access to our luggages until day 5 of our cruise. Multiple cruise employees incorrectly told us that Harmony was the Mariner and we almost missed our cruise. They told us when our luggages were taken from us and when we were going through the security checkpoint.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The quality of the food is a hit and miss, however the service was excellent.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We did the wall climbing, pool, golf, playground, water slides and surfing, bouncing. The activities are diverse but I found the staff to be rude, and hard to work with especially the staff working the bouncing and the surfing. It seemed like the surfing were very focused on pushing their private lessons before they would let you try the ride.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The music was fine, some instances many of the music that was played around the playground had inappropriate language and not family friendly. The stage shows were lackadaisical and low quality.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
They weren’t impressed with the kids club so I didn’t bother to enroll them.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was excellent from the room stewards, guest service and waiters.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The design is ok, nothing spectacular. It was fairly clean, except the pool deck and the smoking area.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The size was good, and it was very clean and well maintained.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

1 out of 5
I was directed to the wrong ship and my luggages were lost. The employees working the port were not very helpful and were more focused on getting a tip.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

The port is ok. The activities on the port are way overpriced and the excursion we bought totally sucked, it was basically a scam. We did the sandbar getaway.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

This is a trashy port. We didn’t do an excursion we stayed on the port. The port is trashy and dirty.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

My family really enjoyed Coco Cay. This was the highlight of the trip.

Wow, that's crazy that they didn't know the name of the ship. Wasn't the name painted on the side?
