It was wonderful being back on board The Mariner of the Seas. We had a great bunch of people on board and an awesome job by all of the crew. I was traveling with my mother, aunt and a family friend all 60-80 plus and two of us are handicapped. We could not have been treated any nicer.
Embarkation

A bit complicated due to the Bermuda requirements.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Some inconsistencies on temperature and a tough time in the dining room for breakfast. I believe that a lot of the trouble is the understaffing and I really credit the crew for how hard they worked to try and make the best of what they had!
Main Dining Room
3 out of 5
Deck 3, early seating. Anytime dining uses the same room and every evening we felt very rushed to finish dessert and leave. The waitstaff did their best but we usually were just receiving dessert at 6:30-6:45 when everyone was lined up and waiting to be seated.
Windjammer Café

Breakfast eggs were hit or miss and bacon was scarce but lunch was always on point! Great staff and service no matter when we went.
Schooner Bar

Very disappointed at layout, very long and narrow with tables on walkway to casino. No place really to "park" walkers.
Café Promenade

Yummy! Coffee station as well as specialty coffees,
Onboard Activities

I am unable to participate in a lot of these activities, but I sure enjoyed watching everybody else h entertainment aving a great time.
Center Ice Rink

Best show of the trip!
Casino Royale
3 out of 5
Let's get some better machines with bonus games, not much fun without them. Spent very little time in here this trip.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Sadly some of our shows were canceled due to the performers being ill. I thoroughly enjoyed the ice show. I wish they would have showed more movies in the theater or had the movie show on the TV in the stateroom. It was impossible to watch them on the pool deck due to the amount of people.
Library

1 small shelf of books and a handful of games. Very disappointed.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Took a while to get some of the stuff we needed in the room and they never were able to find extension cords for the oxygen machines. They're trying to be more friendly and have things be digital, but we were traveling with some folks that didn't have phones and it took quite a bit to get paper copies of the compass for them. Again, I feel like a lot of this had to do with understaffing and not the crew of themselves. As for the dining room, we were assigned deck 3 at the early sitting and didn't realize that people line up there for anytime dining. Although our dessert wasn't being served until 6:30 or 6:45, people were lined up waiting and it made us feel very uncomfortable and rushed!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everywhere you looked you saw somebody cleaning, wiping down and making sure that all of the tables were regularly sanitized as well in the windjammer and lounges.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had cabin 7632 also with a connecting door between. We were extremely pleased! Great size. Plenty of storage. Having the door made everything so much easier for us. I also like that the balconies were connecting. They weren't able to open the door until the next day, but for the rest of the cruise we were able to enjoy sitting outside together.
Ship tip
Be patient and realize that everybody is doing their very best and are just as happy to be there as you are!
Check the ferry schedule carefully if you want to go to Hamilton! They only run every so often. In Hamilton, we talked with cab drivers about doing a tour. As the buses are not handicap accessible. We negotiated until we found a driver that we felt comfortable with.
Docking area is under construction. We were so far away and there was only a handful of golf carts that could carry two people at a time for mobility challenged. Have been here in the past so decided not to disembark.
Hard to find a porter but everything was very orderly and the facial recognition was awesome. Took us about 15 or 20 minutes to collect our bags and be at the curb waiting on our ride.
