Interesting time for my first Royal Carribean cruise! Not sure I would choose them again.
Embarkation

There was a bit of confusion caused by a greeter when she told a member of our party to go a different direction from the rest of the group.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The service was amazing! The food....not so much. It took quite a few meals to find the edible items in the menu within the main dining room.
It would also be great to have more options for late night dining. The pizza at the Promenade Cafe was repetitive and greasy.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Our group did the escape room and laser tag which were fun!
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The comedy shows were fantastic. The pool parties fell a bit flat through the belly flop competition was quite amusing.
Children's Programs
No children in group.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our room steward and waiters made our trip. They were insanely helpful and nice to see everyday.
We did receive the runaround from the guest services and shore excursion desks. We were sent to other people who sent us right back to the person we started with. Not a great experience.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The ship is in need of a deep clean but overall well-maintained. The
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was a bit smaller than my cabins have been on Carnival (especially the bathroom) but it was fine for two people. The beds were comfy and the shower water hot. A deep clean was needed. There were crumbs and dust in areas that don’t seem to be looked after like the window frame to the promenade but the usable space was well maintained by stewards. Paul was excellent!
Ship tip
Bring water (hydration stations are few) and check out the specialty restaurants.
The Jet Boat ride was underwhelming but the captain was fun and gave us good recommendations. We also hung out at the beach and had local fare.
We were ripped off at one of the fish fry restaurants. Everyone seemed to recommend one but when we got there the food was expensive and terrible. They didn’t even bring our correct orders.
The atmosphere at Coco Cay was very forced. The activities were scarce (especially at the party) and people just seemed to migrate and sleep. I understand the island is not completely open yet but I would recommend more local presence. Otherwise it’s just more of the same ship entertainment being forced on land.
The food in the Catina on the island was much better than it was on the boat. I recommend offering that bbq chicken at some point on the boat.
