Mariner of the Seas is by far my favorite ship. The experience was so different from our first cruise but in the best way. I would definitely recommend everyone to experience this ship at least once. Of course I was sad the sky pad was closed but thatās okay. Thereās always next time.
Embarkation

So funny story. We actually decided to take a 24 hour road trip from Texas to Miami. Let me just say, it was Brutal... the experience was great but I wouldnāt recommend nonstop driving unless you have more than 5 people lol. But at the end, it was so worth the views. Florida is such a beautiful state. Thinking about maybe relocating there š the port was amazing and staff was super friendly. By far this was the best cruise experience! Food and Dining

There is so much food to eat itās crazy! Sometimes we had to think and say to ourselves, slow down lol the food is going to be here all day everyday. And of course everything was delicious! We even tried escargot for the first time. It was extremely weird but it wasnāt to bad. It almost had the texture of mozzarella cheese balls š check out our reactions hereā> https://youtu.be/G7AU8vESasU

Let me just tell you, first of all. The cruise director Ricky... That man was so HOT. He knew how to get down and have fun! He had all the ladies screaming lol. And of course we canāt forget about our room attendant Imade. He was extremely sweet, always looking out for us and had things ready for us even if we didnāt ask. He was amazing! To the performers, they were so amazing and talented. The event staff members were fantastic. I know they got tired of bumping into me and my bff. Lol we had a great time.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our overall cabin experience was good. Of course it is very small for 3 people to share but we made do. And of course like I always say, the only time you are in your room is when itās time to go to bed.
Ship tip
Always arrive early to everything! The biggest issue we had was finding a place to eat in the windjammer. It was crazy how packed it got in a matter of minutes.
We were docked here from 9AM until midnight. I thought that was amazing. The first thing we did when we got off the ship was of course explore the town a bit until we came across The Queenās Staircase. The scenery was beautiful we had to take so many photos! Afterwards we went back to the ship, had some lunch, and got dressed to go to the beach. That was kind of a scary experience because we were at the beach for a while enjoying our time until the sun started to go down and we decided it was time to make our way back to the ship to enjoy the sunset. Unfortunately our taxi driver did not show up to take us back so there was a bit of a panic until we decided to walk to one of the hotels nearby to call for a taxi. Thankfully they were super nice and understanding. We decided to enjoy the rest of the time on the ship.
You guys, Miami is such a beautiful place to be! I love animals so you know we had to visit the zoo. I think the Miami Zoo is by far the best zoo I have ever been to.
So Coco Cay was still under construction when we came to visit so it was a little crazy but oh my gosh it was still so nice. If we would have waited another week to cruise we would have seen the finished project.
