Had a great, relaxing time

Sail Date: June 20, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship is beautiful and the layout is great. Lots of public areas to relax.

Pros: Dining staff was incredible

Cons: wasn't too impressed with the room attendant

Recommends Mariner of the Seas? Yes!

Service and Staff
Dining staff were exceptional! As for stateroom attendants - not very personable, saw them seldomly. First night the bed wasn't turned down. At least their service improved toward the end of the cruise.
Entertainment
Comedian was horrible. Everyone at our dining table felt the same. Didn't bother going to any more of his shows after the first night. Heard from several people that the ice show was great, though.
Food and Dining
Wasn't as impressed as I have been on previous cruises. The meals were good, but didn't have any meals that were truly outstanding.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Had a room on Deck 8 for the first time. Great location. Size and decor were standard and quite sufficient.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
My favorite port. Went to the beach in Old Town. Beautiful.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Don't Miss: The beach.
Mazatlan, Mexico
DIdn't get off the ship.
