Review summary
Too many indoor smoking areas. The overall staff was not as cheerful and friendly as the staff on Navigator of the Seas. However, it was refreshing to see and hear the Captain thoroughout our cruise. He was always visible, pleasant, and we could understand his announcements. Our dinning room waiter and assistant waiter were very attentive. We even enjoyed dinner talking to two other families whom we met on the cruise, and would have switched to a bigger table to enjoy dinner together.Ports of call

Pros: Captain is always visible and heard
Cons: general atmosphere - not as exciting or feeling of welcomed
Recommends Mariner of the Seas? No.
