Review summary
This was our fifth cruise on Royal Carribean and defintiely not our favorite ship. We were told that it was the same as the Voyager (which we were on 4 years ago) but we were not as impressed with this ship. The service was fabulous and the activities for the kids could not be beat. The Chops Grille has excellent food and terrific service, however, the food both at the Windjammer and in the Dining Room was pretty awful. Voyager had outside tables and chairs where we were able to play cards and other games and on the Mariner, this space was taken up by the Chops Grille and Portofino. Voyager had a fun sports bar on the Promenade which this boat did not. The food on Coco Cay was unedible and we ended up going back to the ship to enjoy the frozen yogurt, which was always a huge line since one of the machines was ALWAYS broken!!! We did enjoy the Full Court basketball. Even the entertainment was not as enjoyable. The best part of the vacation was being togethere with 15 members of our family. There was something to do for everyone but i would pick another ship. We loved the Enchanment of the Sea and the Voyager of the Sea much more!Ports of call
