Review summary

I love Royal Caribbean Voyager Class Ships. The Mariner of the Seas was no exception. The Royal Prominade is such a spectacular centerpiece of the ship. I love the Cafe Prominade, where you can get free snacks 24/7. Also, the dining room is fabolous. Last year I was on Carnival Glory, where the dining room was so tacky and overdone, it was refreshing to have such a gorgous place to enjoy dinner. The food was great! Most nights my brother would order two entrees and the waiter would happily bring it. The ice skating show was very impressive and you can free skate during the day if you want to hit the ice. Overall, I would recommend the Mariner or any of RCCL's Voyager class ships to anyone!

This is one of my favorite ports. I love the beach and there is PLENTY of beautiful beach to enjoy. The island is big enough to be able to go to the opposite end to get away from the crowds, They have a little trolly to take you to one end to the other. There are volleyball courts, plenty of beach chairs, locals selling sounviners and a barbeque lunch. If you love to relax on the beach all day, this is the place for you.... However, if you are more active, you can rent waverunners, parasail, etc.

I really like Chakanaab National Park. Here there is fantastic snorkeling, beaches and also a Dolphin Experience where you can swim with dolphins.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

The past 2 times I have been to Ocho Rios, I have taken the same shore excursion (San San Yacht Cruise) This takes you snorkeling and then to Dunns River Falls, which is great.

Don't Miss: Dunn River Falls, you climb the falls which is great! However it is sorta a challenge to climb.

Swimming with the Stingrays is a must, also Seven Mile Beach is great. If you dont' want to book an excursion, just get off the ship and there are taxis there waiting to take people to 7mile beach. For 2 yrs I have went to the Beach Colony Hotel (taxi is $4 per person, the Beach Colony is $18, which includes a beach chair, umbrella and drink.
