If you are expecting a "Mardi Gras" theme do not! There was no purple, greeen or gold! It could have been done really fun with that theme. Expect to pay extra for everything so basically double your price at least! It's just a BIG normal boat! I wish I had tried Princess this time instead! This was at least my 8th cruise!

It’s a large ship with a lot of people so be patient. If you can do the stairs (especially going down) I would suggest to use them.

Get there early for buffet and dining room. Be patient with elevators. Staff work really hard...appreciate them.

Mardi gras is a big ship and plenty great show and things to do. Organized your plan well each day so you won't miss good shows.

Since we were traveling with our teenagers (15 & 17) we purchased the chat feature so we would be able to communicate with them. This feature NEVER worked properly the entire week, even after we continued to go down to guest services and complain. This ship was HUGE and it was a little unnerving not to be able to contact our girls.

A room near the summer landing venue is very convenient. Pool and hot tub is close, also close to food, ice cream, water, pizza. A fast commute to any spot on the ship. Faster elevator service due to being in the aft of the ship.
