The ship was beautiful, but I given the Covid situation at this time, I was surprised that it seemed to be fully booked. I enjoyed it, but avoided closed or crowded venues. i.e the Piano Bar where people were singing without masks. I would wait until the Covid situation was well under control before I went on this ship again. The crew and waitstaff were amazing.

It’s a very nice vessel but it is extremely large and you should expect to do a lot of walking. Staff is as always very helpful and friendly. The pizza still sucks

We decided that cruising at Christmas was not a good idea.

Overall, this was a great cruise minus the Bahamas. The ship is huge but I think they have made more room for people and taken out a lot of the extras on this ship. Bolt was fun.

For our first Christmas cruise we expected a more Christmas vibe. They focused more on Mardi Gras than Xmas. Santa did not appear until at least 6pm Christmas Day. Seriously?! It was disappointing.

Overall this was a great cruise, we were happy to be cruising again. The ship is beautiful and we look forward to its sister ships however Carnival has cut back on a lot of things. Pros: - Beautiful ship - Plenty of food venues to try from street food to restaurants Cons: - Platinum/Diamond party limited to 1 glass of wine (no food or other drinks) - Platinum Pin is a nondescript plain pin without the year or ship name, rather disappointing to those that collect them from each ship. - Very limited Mardi Gras inaugural merchandise (surprising as I would expect them to sell a lot of that). - Popcorn is no longer free during Dive-in Movies ($3) - Bolt an additional $15/per ride Pro/Con depending on point of view. - Portion sizes have been reduced considerably. - Cake slices are about a 1/3 of previous size. - You can purchase soda by the ounce (21 cents/oz), expensive but does give you an option. Definitely a lot less food waste.

Very relaxing, really did enjoy our time. The crew were amazing as always! Everyone very friendly. Can't wait to go on our next one!

Was wonderful to be cruising again. The staff was absolutely grateful to see us as much as we were to see them.

packed with stuff to do roller coaster and ropes coarse was the best

This was our first cruise, and we can't wait to go on another! It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

If you get the chance to sail on the Mardi Gras you must great ship

The Mardi Gras is an excellent ship. The different areas that they have developed are beautiful. I particularly loved La Piazza and The French Quarter. I would definitely sail on this ship again.

Not having sailed Carnival for over 7 years (had 17 sailings prior ) Switched to other lines but this ship made us think to come back to visit Mardi Gras again and any future new ship of Carnival

Beautiful high tech ship with great shows. Rooms are very small. Ship has an over crowded feel and venues are to small. Sailed with reduced capacity but ship seemed pack.
