Overall good value for the money. Huge ship with tons of options for dining and entertainment

Cruise was great but entertainment was lacking and not well planned.

The ship is beautiful and unique. I would always book shore excursions thru the cruise line. Our excursions booked through were a hike to get to and the one that was canceled due to inclement weather took a few calls to resolve and still waiting on refund. Those who booked with carnival were refunded that very same day.

The cruise was great. The ports of call were exciting except for Roatan where it rained all day. For the most part the food and staff were excellent although not quite as good as the last ship we were on. The ship is so big we will probably not cruise on it again.

Well kept ship, loved the extra food options. Loved the serenity deck. I may or may not go back on that ship.

Had fun and the kids too. It was great to sail again carnival can improve the shows and the food.

This was my 1st cruise with Carinval, although we have cruised 41 times with other lines. Although we did have a good time, I'm not sure I would rush back to Carnival. We prefer more luxury when we cruise. Having said that, we only paid £263pp for a Cove Balcony room, which really was exceptional value. I can certainly see why many people like Carnival.

We had a great time on the ship the only thing I missed was the Lido deck cam. I like to get up and see the deck. I loved how they had plenty of outlets in the room. I did read that it was sensitive to people with sensory issues, but I could not find were the sensory warnings were located. I ended up in a show with blinking lights and was not able get up to leave do to the performers that were going to be moving around. I got stuck there and had a headache the rest of the evening and d=was dizzy from the lights. Other than that, I love Carnival. I thought the Mardi Gras was great. I look forward to many more Carnival Cruises

Our cruise on Mardi Gras was great. Fun bars, plenty of food options, good shows. Vista & Horizon were very good; Mardi Gras was great. When people ask where we cruised to, we tell them about the ship- the ship is the destination.

My family and I were extremely happy with our Cruise. There was so much to do on the ship that it feels impossible to see/do it all on 1 trip. Definitely looking forward to our next Carnival Cruise!

We were surprised at the # of people on this cruise. The ship holds 6,000 and there were about 2,800 people on this cruise. When we pulled up for embarcation we were very surprised at the length of the line but it went very quickly and we were on the ship in about 15 min. The ship is basically new and it felt like we were the first to sail. Our room attendant was Jaya and he was always on top of things to make sure our room was always clean. We had Vincent, Kim and Milah in the Palm Dining room and have never had better attendants. It was like they were part of your family. Because of the low # of guests there were no crowds and even in the Marketplace there were plenty of tables. One negative thing we found that the Street Eats restaurants were only open about 3 hours a day and always during the dining hours so never got to try them. Debarcation was a breeze off boat in about 10 minutes with no problems. Would highly recommend the Mardi Gras. We sail RC most of the time but this ranked right up there with them.

Very relaxing. However we feel they totally under utilized the atrium area. Most shows or games were in the theater which is so much smaller. They could really play movies in there, have more shows, and games. Super disappointed with how they used it. The bar was great and the seats were super comfortable. Not sure why they wouldn’t use that space after making it so cool.

The protocols with COVID were good, the crew was awesome & very happy to assist with any need you may have! Entertainment was top class! Would suggest this ship for anyone interested in cruising!

Ship is beautiful and so many free dining options and activities make it most likely our next cruise when we bring the kids. Do your research on the ports and be prepared to do a lot of walking. We were at 60% capacity and some venues were still overcrowded. Be patient and remember we are still in a pandemic and things can’t possibly be the same as before. We will definitely be back on her soon.

Ship was big and beautiful, food was excellent and so was the service. Had a wonderful time

It was not a perfect cruise. A little too cold in the ports for this Arizonian to swim and sun at the beach - but many did! The pools and spas onboard were heated and there are wind breaks. But it was a smooth cruise and many times you could hardly tell that we were moving. The staff onboard was excellent and was always trying their best with little exception. I realize I prefer summer or fall for cruising, but this was my birthday cruise and it was mostly right on with my expectations. Pamela Ray
