It is a new ship, so everything works and is beautiful. The service of princess is just 5 star all the way.  

the additional services that you have to pay for though can add up to quite an astounding amount.  I would do it again though without blinking

Awesome ship. Great food. Entertainment was excellent. Staff very attentive. The spa was also very nice I had several massages. The excursions were a little pricey but worth it.

Summary: Great ship, very high end finishings, decor, service. For being such a large ship it never feels crowded, even at full capacity. The balcony rooms are lovely, and well designed to maximize space. Room and dining stewards services are top notch. 3 formal dining rooms, all different decor and really lovely. The Allegro (formal seating times) and Concerto & Symphony for anytime dining). We chose anytime dining option- Never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table (party of 2) and often called each morning to make reservations for the restaurant we wanted to eat in each night. The other restaurants; the payable high end dining are stunning- Crown; La Mer and Harmony, and all have delicious looking menus, haven't eaten at them as of yet. Highlight for us on sea day was the Hollywood Pool and Conservatory (adult area) indoor and so relaxing- go early to get a free cabana lining the windows of the ship! (there are also paid cabanas with server and tv, and private curtains, but we found the open cabanas in the pool area were amazing enough. This ship is bound for Asia (after sailing the Mediterranean this spring) so there are some touches which will suit the Asian sailing routes very well- Lobster/Dim Sum bar; Bubble Tea bar; huge gaming rooms and vegas style casino; including Asian items available at the buffet as well, all very delicious. The shopping is also amazing - High end and designer but duty and tax free - there's even a store with cosmetic/ skin care / fragrance just like a duty free. Overall this ship is quite the experience as this maiden voyage is filled with perks - being the first ones to use fluffy towels and linens is great!

We have been saving for almost 20 years to go on this cruise and it was wonderful! all the people on the ship made us feel so safe and comfortable that anything we needed they got us with a smile! We have wanted to do this trip for a long time and could not as life and sickness got in the way (I am in remission with cancer) so this will probably be my last time overseas but I wanted to introduce my son to it as he has never been overseas. You all made him want to go back very soon.  Richard was our steward and he looked over us so completely. He always made sure before bed if I needed anything and if I was going ashore next day and if I was not sure of something he was always there to help us, he was the best possible person we could have had and we appreciated him so much. We were on the Magestic room A431.

We have really enjoyed the preview cruise, trying new things, being the first to sleep on new mattresses and use plump (for now) towels.  Our thoughts: Hits Hollywood Conservatory is a great space. So beautiful and relaxing, It rained yesterday and Chris thought the rain coming down the windows was a special effect! Hollywood Pool. Heated indoor pool away from the elements. Harmony Restaurant - lovely food and ambience. Hope to try the full menu next. Noodle Bar - freshly made, tasty and complimentary. Juice bar - loved the smoothies Leaves bar - bubble tea good if you like it. Karaoke suites - great tech once you can book it. Misses Bathrooms are smaller in balcony cabins - too squidgy in front of the basins Lack of Daytime space to chill - no comfy aft chairs Nightclub limited - pop-up only and again no comfy chairs Reduced number and size of bars - but then it's tailored for a different market. World Fresh Marketplace - reduced options compared to Royal and Regal. No flags as in the promo video. Lobster Grill - made to Chinese tastes and you need to pay. Ice cream - tasted different, no gelato. Shopping - too upscale. Reassuringly the same. Main dining room. Quality and service good. Alfredos. Excellent. International Cafe. Usual fare Piazza - always something going on.

This was our 17th Princess Cruise. The ship was amazing and great to see a different type of shopping with much higher branded shops such as Cartier and Coach. Food up to very high Princess standard . There were 9 of us travelling together including an 18 month old and the staff couldn't do enough . All in all a very nice 5 days and hopefully will catch the Majestic again in the Far East

I have to say that this was our first Princess Cruise. We were a party of 10. The ship was amazing. Unfortunately we had bother the first 2 nights getting out table for 10 which was booked from the start. Secondly and I believe this to be the most important. Every meal we had was lukewarm. In the restaurant and the marketplace. This is unacceptable as all the crew were experienced staff brought from other ships. Hopefully this will change.

Having got back today from our first cruise with Princess I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The ship as expected was sparkly and new. Have sailed loads previously with Celebrity we we nervous of jumping ship as it were. Our concerns where unfounded. While no quite there with luxury and modernity as Celebrity we had an amazing time. The main dining room was brilliant, tables spaced nicely apart, lovely food and service very attentive. This ship is clearly geared to the Chinese market and that needs to be considered with entertainment and food. I was though surprised by how uncrowded it felt and how much space there was on deck, some of it not put to very good use! One down note was that we were expecting this to be the maiden voyage as sold, it wasn't. We would defiantly sail with Princess again.

Really enjoyed Majestic Princess as a ship and vacation resort. Hope to sail again with her as we missed a few things and already wish we were back on board.

Princess is always solid, I wish the old freebies were back

The amount of days of this cruise was perfect. There were several days that we had that were just sea days. This was perfect for us. There was plenty of entertainment for us on those sea days. The restaurant staff was great. We had a set reservation for 5:20 every night and Boyan and Rogers took care of us. I especially loved the way they took care of our parents.

A great little getaway. Victoria was nice to see during the day.

This was a decent cruise considering it was so short. I only booked it because of the cruise credit promotion they were offering. But I was just on the Sapphire Princess two weeks ago and it is striking how different the ships were in terms of service. The Sapphire was excellent across the board from service to food to entertainment. This one was hit and miss. I don’t know that I would have been as bothered by this one had I not had such a good one so recently. I am supposed to do this ship again in a couple of years and I probably will still but I’m having second thoughts whether I want to be on this ship for 12 nights.

Cruise was short and we received double cruise points!

All good and very relaxing. The Princess plus package was worth the extra as the WIFI was very good and we don't drink a lot but the fresh squeezed OJ was great and specialty coffees too. We love the medallion!!

Overall had a really good time on this ship! Food and staff were great

An incredible, life-changing trip. If you have to opportunity, go! Absolutely profound beauty.

The Medallion is genius! We were with two other couples and we could message each other and see where everyone was for meet ups. A HUGE flaw with the Medallion is that there are no alert notifications of messages which delayed communication between us because it wasn't practical to regularly check the app.
