Review summary

The amount of days of this cruise was perfect. There were several days that we had that were just sea days. This was perfect for us. There was plenty of entertainment for us on those sea days. The restaurant staff was great. We had a set reservation for 5:20 every night and Boyan and Rogers took care of us. I especially loved the way they took care of our parents.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I think the food was ok, but the other people I went with were all very disappointed. The comment I mostly heard was when we go on cruises our main entertainment is the food and with that being said it should be at least good. As for me, I enjoy food but it’s not my main entertainment. So I was happy with most meals. I really enjoyed the buffet. They had a large variety of foods and everything tasted good. There was not a set server in the buffet, so there were some times that we would have to wait for our beverages. Most times my husband would go to the drink station and get our drinks for us.

Entertainment

The comedians and magicians were great. Definitely worth watching. The cruise line’s entertainers were OK. The ships game shows were pretty funny and entertaining.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were in an inside cabin and it was perfect. This was our first time getting an inside cabin. The positive about the inside cabin is how dark it gets. You have no idea what time it is so napping and bedtime are wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows like clouds. With that being side, if you like a firmer pillow ask for one and they’ll bring it for you. Our steward was great. Her name was Faith. She did a wonderful job taking care of us and my mother’s cabin. She always had such a beautiful smile.

Ship tip

On the stateroom decks, the blue carpet is even numbers and the red is odd numbers.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

It was very hot and the water was very choppy. The roads were very hard to walk on. A lot of uneven surfaces.

Loreto, Mexico

This was a nice little town. The road and side walk was very uneven so be careful.

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
This cruise was the easiest disembarkation we’ve ever done. Our scheduled time to disembark was 9 and we were off the ship by 9:20. They have mastered this.
