A wonderful holiday - definitely one for the bucket list!

We could not fault this ship! We enjoyed every moment on board, it is beautifully decorated, smooth sailing and the facilities were of a high standard. The staff we encountered were professional, friendly, approachable and made our time away extra memorable.

Had a fantastic time, highly recommend would definitely sail with Princess again!

Great itinerary for this cruise, travelled in great company on the beautiful Majestic Princess.

In summary, this was a memorable cruise on an oustanding ship! We have already booked other cruises with Princess, and wouldn’t hesitate to go on Majestic again.

overall i think the boat the staff the cleanliness is amazing was just pretty much anytime we went to level 5 we felt like my kids were being judged for laughing smiling or even having fun with staff by other passengers

As usual with Princess, we were well beyond our expectations. The Majestic Princess is a new ship of massive dimensions. A big improvement in space and the availability of sitting for coffee compared with our previous ships that you had to wait to find a place to seat.

The ship itself would only get 3 stars while the ports we were able to visit would get 5 stars. The food was not up to standard and while we loved our room, the small size of the balcony disappointed us. The biggest disappointment was missing the scenic cruising of the fjords. Also the tender service was poorly administered and wait time unacceptable.

Wasn’t impressed with the ship at all. Food was so so. Entertainment was average. We will be sticking with the smaller ships. Bigger is definitely not better this time.

Overall great nye cruise Andrew was a great cruise director the staff were attentive the food was great and New Zealand was breathtaking

This was our second cruise, our first was on the Golden Princess in an inside room.... which I think would have been fine if it were just the 2 of us. But with the kids oh I so loved the balcony and the space that came with the mini suite. We are intending on going on another cruise in 2 years time. The kids club staff were utterly incredible with our little ones especially our moderately autistic son. Unfortunately just like the Golden Princess 2 years earlier Christmas was a let down, no christmas crackers at the table, no real christmas food..... nothing that made it seem any different to any other day. So we are thinking of going in January next time and have Christmas at home. I loved the ship and it truly was an amazing holiday yet again and the whole family can't wait to cruise again.

Some of the shows were a little disappointing, you could of had a larger variety of shows!

The ship was clean, spacious and modern. The staff were welcoming and happy to help. There were plenty of activities to do at each port. Overall, it was a great experience and is highly recommend.

We sailed December 6, 2018 from Sydney to Auckland. The ship was beautiful and clean. The service from our room steward was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Of course, we found some favorites along the way. We did Anytime dining and only had to wait a few minutes for a table with the exception of one evening. I do have to say we preferred the Symphony over the Concerto. We dined one evening in the Concerto and never returned. Our younger son adored going to the kids club. They had constant activities throughout the day and the two ladies were awesome! He usually is not much of a joiner, but he insisted on going everyday. Entertainment by Evolution was outstanding. We preferred to watch them over going to a show. We tried one show and thought is was terrible. My husband went to the casino once. He didn’t care for the slot machines as they seemed to be geared for the Asian market. Not a big deal since we aren’t big gamblers. They had a special on the premium internet package our first day. It was $200 for 12 nights. No complaints at all with the speed. We were able to do everything we needed to do, including using FaceTime. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation!

The Majestic Princess is a beautiful cruise ship, one if the latest and largest Pricess ships . Our cruise was terrific great food wonderful crew and services. Missed seeing the Fiordland Marine Parks due to a low pressure system causing strong winds and very large swell which our very wise Captain Dino Sagani thankfully decided wasnt safe passage. Recomend this cruise on the Majestic Princess.

Was very underwhelmed. We had been expecting big things following the hype about the brand new ship. We found that the crew while friendly seemed overwhelmed. On a number of occasions our room wasn’t serviced until late in the day. On one occasion is wasn’t done until after dinner. We found it very crowded and it was almost impossible to get a seat in the public areas. On a number of occasions we took our drinks or food back to our room as there was nowhere to sit. Service in the dining room was very slow. On one occasion our table spent over 2 hours at dinner. Food was never served hot always luke warm. We were very disappointed with the buffet area. Not a great deal of choice and again the hot food was not kept hot which is a health hazard. We had two of our pre booked tours cancelled supposedly through lack of numbers and the final disappointment was to miss the fiords. We felt this was pre planned since there were presentations on every port before arriving but the fiords presentation was after we missed it. To make matters worse they were selling a dvd of the presentation and expected us to pay $60 for it. Would not recommend the Majestic Princess. Will stick to the smaller ships in future.

What a disappointment - sailed on the Regal earlier this year and thought it would be nice to compare ships. Talk about chalk and cheese. It is obvious the Majestic has been designed for the Chinese gambling circuit in mind - temporary refit while cruising in Aus waters and totally missing the market. Had a mini suite (nice) but not serviced very well. Food this time was mediocre and service in the restaurants was spasmodic at best. Had dinner on the last night in the Harmony restaurant, paid an extra $70.00 for the occasion and found the food inedible - all courses were sent back. Another couple dining next to us (there were only two others dining in the restaurant all evening) experienced the same. Hygiene in the bars was to believed - at no time did we observe gloves being used when preparing fruit for cocktails, even upstairs in the bistro gloves were often absent and passengers were not monitored at the entry for hand washing. The entertainment(singers and dancers) was great although the Princess theatre was far too small - seats compared to a budget airline with no comfort or respite for your drinks ( if you could get any - 1 - 2 stewards for the entire theatre) The supporting acts were average and were of usual Princess standards. Generally the Majestic is nice, clean and modern but if your looking for the best Princess experience sail on a smaller ship - better off. We will definitely not sail on this one again and most likely go back to Royal Caribbean for our next.

Wow this cruise is hard to beat ! Its stunning. Room M630 this balcony room was spacious and great location for us. One level above us is the marketplace so it’s great easy walk to breakfast or late night cookie and milk. A level above that is kids club so it’s easy for us to pick up the kids. The kids club was so good. Love the daily activities and different theme days. Mini olympics, pirates treasure hunt, make your own t shirts, shark day make a real shark tooth necklace, superhero day, wizards. The kids club carers were all so lovely my boys just loved it so much. The food was delicious everyday, we had dinner at Harmony. 5 courses Chinese it was fine dining. The food and staff was 5 stars wow I’m still thinking about the delicious food. We also dine at the Crown Grill. The steak was perfectly cooked and the lobster was to die for. Its a four course meal. Well worth the cover charge of $35 per person. Also love the noodle bar by the pool, great snack while swimming, the kids loved cheese burger and chips by the pool. Our room was spacious lots of room to move around. The bed is very comfortable, we were very happy with the room. I love all the live music onboard. Wish we were still onboard. Look forward to booking another cruise soon.
