Review summary

This was an anniversary present for my husband and me - one of the best vacations we have ever taken!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We walked straight through the terminal and directly onto the ship. Things have come a long way since our last cruise - perfect start to the experience!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining rooms were amazing as always - visited the same dining room each night at our "reserved" table - fantastic service by our waiter team, who knew our preferences by the second visit.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Children's Programs

we did not take children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Once you learn the layout of the ship, you know how to navigate to your destination. Common areas were always kept clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was a standard balcony room - for two people this was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our belongings and our room steward always ensured that the bathroom and the room were kept tidy.

Ship tip

Get familiar with the layout of the ship as quickly as possible to avoid confusion.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington Did not visit port

this was where we got on the ship

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Ketchikan was great - we did a UTV adventure ride and a meal at a lodge. UTV ride was a little rougher than we are used to, but still fun. The meal was crab and was excellent!

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

4 out of 5
No port - just touring the glacier area - fantastic views!

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Great town - we went to see the glacier and whale watching.(one of the main reasons we went - whales) Didn't see as many as I would have liked - never enough - but we did see whales and it was an awesome experience!

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Smaller town - too many excursions to pick from. We took an airboat ride out of Haines, searching for wildlife. We saw a bear and many eagles.

Victoria, British Columbia Did not visit port

no interest and there was nothing close to the ship

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Amazing - Princess checked us in with our airlines and got our luggage to the airport - we simply walked off the ship.
