This was our first time in Royal Caribbean cruise line and we will plan another trip. Hopefully they will get better beds.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The food was good, nice variety, different themes each day, staff were amazing and very attentive, kept tables cleaned and ready for us to find a table to sit at.
Onboard Activities

The pools are great, jacuzzi's we're enjoyable in the evenings, the fitness center has everything you could need, the spa is quite expensive, they had wine tasting and bourbon tasting (only you don't know the fee until you get there, they were $25), the flow rider was great and the staff training and helping everyone were amazing and patient. You had to pay to play in the arcade, so we didn't do it (however we were looking forward to playing a few games). The miniature golf was a nice little course. They had all kinds of basketball, volleyball and dodgeball tournaments throughout the week. Tons of lounge chairs around the ship to enjoy the sun and shade. Great belly flop competition, lots of fun watching and rating them. Karaoke several evenings, great fun, really some good talent and if course not so good, very enjoyable, great crowds. Several "Game Shows" to participate/enjoy ... Name that tune, finish that song, a couple marriage games, competitions using household items in non traditional ways, they get pretty creative and fun in providing these for everyone's enjoyment. People enjoyed being involved in it all. Lots of jewelry shopping, and lessons on how to buy gemstones. There is something for everyone.
Entertainment

The great talent of the musicians and dancers. There was an ice show, that was really enjoyable. The Argentine Comedian they had on the ship was really good. His show was full of clean jokes and a show of swinging bolo's. There were musicians in many areas of the ship for our enjoyment.
Children's Programs
Didn't take any kids
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
In all of the dining areas the staff were very attentive and helpful. Nagy and Ibede were our wait staff in the main dining hall (we did "Our Time Dining" so we were not a set time). They were very attentive, remembered our names and things we liked (I like a little chocolate syrup with my coffee, they brought it each time for me). Gave great recommendations for each meal and we were not disappointed. Our room steward, Nakita was amazing-we would leave in the morning for breakfast and our room was cleaned immediately. We would leave for dinner and she would give new towels and have our room ready for us for bed time. The staff work hard and they never make it seem like it's an inconvenience.
Ship Quality

They maintained the ship extremely well. Always cleaning areas and making sure hand rails and tables were wiped down when someone got up. There were a few things they had to fix and they took care of it right away.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was HORRIBLE. Get like we were sleeping in plywood with sheets on it. The balcony was enjoyable, the signs was comfortable. ONLY 2 electrical plugs in the room, in the vanity/desk area. No plug by the bed. BRING AN ELECTRICAL SO BAR if you need more plugs. I needed an extension cord for my machine by the bed and Nakita took care of that for me. Very little counter space in the bathroom. There is a medicine cabinet in the bathroom which was helpful. In the vanity/desk area, the mirror lights up well, there is more than enough storage there, small medicine cabinets in both sides of the mirror, 3 drawers on both sides. The run has a hair dryer, small frig. Small safe is in the closet. Lots of hangers. We stored our luggage under the bed and put dirty clothes back in them each day, helped in repacking at the end of our trip. The area in the room is good for 2 people.
Ship tip
I bought the coffee card. Gives you 15 cups of specialty coffee (regular specialty coffee = 1 coffee, if you make it large or a cold coffee = 2 Coffees being marked off your card. The Starbucks coffee is $4.50 for a reg size and then they go up. So this card was saving half the price. My husband and I shared it.
We booked a tour through cruises.com and enjoyed it a lot. We took the Chacchoben Extreme Tour to the Ruins and Lagoon, our tour guide was really informative. They were a little scrambled getting all the groups together and heading out for the different tours, so we were over an hour late in leaving so that shortened our time at the lagoon, weather was really windy so that ended up not making much of a difference for us since we really couldn't kayak like we wanted. The tacos and drinks were delicious.
Did the dune buggy and beach for through the ship. Great tour, drove halfway around the island in the dune buggies. Weather was beautiful and enjoyed our time.
We went on the liberty of the seas and thought it was OK , but we thought NCL’s food was better. My husband liked the Argentine comedian with the bolos. The beds were OK, we expected better with RCCL, especially bc it was our first time.
