Review summary

Royal Caribbean has excellent food and entertainment. The excursions were all fantastic. The ship had great activities for those interested in sports. Lots of pools, hot tubs and water slides. The Royal Caribbean app is extremely helpful!

Embarkation

Fast and easy check-in with no issues.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Meals were fantastic. The pizza at Sorrento's (free of charge) was the best we've ever had on a cruise ship. The ice cream on Deck 11 was creamy and tasty. The main dining room had great selections and quality. I had prime rib twice, beef tenderloin twice, rack of lamb, Steak Diane, chicken parmesan, and salmon. My wife had mostly seafood including lobster. All at no charge.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I played in two miniature golf and a basketball and volleyball tournament as well as open play in all of them. I learned how to play pickleball and played for a couple of hours. The slides are great, especially the Tidal Wave. I didn't use the wave runner or ice skate, but those were available as well as a weight room. We walked around the track for a couple of miles on days at sea.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The ice show and musicals were fantastic. The comedians were pretty good . The juggler was great!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the personnel were friendly and attentive. I could ask anyone for help and even if it wasn't their area they still helped me. The room steward picked up on our needs and then modified his service to meet them without being asked a second time. Our wait staff was friendly and responsive. Everyone said hello as you passed them and smiled.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was always being cleaned and they always reminded us to use the hand sanitizer before and after entering the Deck 11 restaurant.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Lots of storage space and very comfortable bed. I like the doors on the shower vs curtains (which always results in wet floors). Temperature control was good. The room vent was a bit loud but we wore ear plugs when sleeping.

Ship tip

Use the Royal Caribbean app to reserve all the shows on the first day. The best ones fill up!

Ports of call

We did the Chacchoben ruins.

Belize City, Belize

One of our favorites. We snorkeled on the barrier reef and with nurse sharks and Stingrays. In the past we did the cave tubing.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
We did the Zipline and interaction with sloths, macaws, and monkeys with Victor Bidden. It was great!!

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We did a resort for a day at Playa Mia. In the past we have snorkeled.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fastest disembarkation ever! Just seven minutes from when we left our room until we picked up our luggage and wheeled it to the curb. The ship was only two-thirds full so that may have helped. The face recognition for passport control was so fast!!
