Review summary

Great relaxing and entertaining cruise on a nice ship with excellent staff.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Super easy and efficient

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
One of the best we have ever experienced in terms of quality and diversity of menu items.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Loved the America's Test kitchen, Microsoft sponsored computer classes, and the variety of music available in the evenings ... really great.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Really didn't go to the stage shows because the other performers .. Rock and Roll, B.B>King and the piano duo were too good to miss.

Children's Programs

No children with us, but the few kids around seemed to be having fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great staff all around..

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
All was clean and nice ... generally beautiful art everywhere.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Good cabin ..;. great bathroom features, but a little on the small side. Absolutely clean and comfortable.

Ship tip

One thing I have heard is avoid the 4th deck over the music venues... quite noisy at night, but otherwise ... go and enjoy a nice cruise.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

Went straight to the ship from the airport. Great reasonable transportation from FLL to the cruise port via a van.

Ponta Delgada, Azores

5 out of 5
Loved walking around the small city... no excursions for us this time.

Malaga, Spain

5 out of 5
Easy access to the city and a great port. again no excursions chosen.

Cartagena, Spain

5 out of 5
Great port and lots of history here to enjoy.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy Did not visit port

We disembarked early in Cartagena for a land trip in Spain. If you choose to do this, you must arrange early with your travel agent or the cruise line.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
The cruise line even arranged for customs to be done at a nearby port for our early disembarkation. I was impressed by this taxi over and back as well as the special work they did on our behalf.
