Review summary

Great trip! Would def do again, however never got off the ship in Trinidad as they were having a high crime issue and wasn't interested in any of the excursions. Wish there was more built up around the port both in Trinidad and Tobago so you could explore safely without doing an excursion.

That is BS, everywhere you go has crime, some even high crime. It is what area you go and what you do. Don't walk with big bags, don't flash money, don't ask for directions. You missed our on a beautiful island. I went to Jamaica and was told not to go you some areas. We explore on our own and we kept alert, but me and my spouse made it back safe. My first time there and I enjoyed myself, glad I didn't get scared by the advisory, just more attentive and vigilant.
