SERVICE was LACKING IN MAIN DINING ROOM FOR DINNER. FOOD WAS UNDERWHELMING FOR ALL MEALS IN MAIN DINING ROOM. ROOM STEWARD, JASON WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BY RONNIE - WHO WAS EXCELLENT. KEPT CABIN CLEAN, ALTHOUGH DAMAGE ALREADY DONE. STATEROOM HAD TO BE ADDRESSED FOR CLEANLINESS FOR 2 DAYS AND 3 SEPERATE CLEANINGS.

COMMON AREAS MAINTAINED, HOWEVER STAFF USES A CLOTH TO WIPE DOWN COMMON AREAS THAT ISN'T CLEANED OR DISINFECTED IN BETWEEN USES.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin wasn't comfortable due to the LACK of cleanliness, which was addressed for 2 days until replacing the initial attendant. Although the issue regarding how dirty and unclean cabin was addressed by next attendant, damage was done. Dirty towels, dirty bathroom, medicine cabinet fixtures and make up vanity area falling apart. Space was great on balcony. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND traveling on the JEWEL OF THE SEAS until refurbished.

I only use housekeeping at hotels and cruise ships for vacuuming. That take the same dirty rag from room to room smearing other people cooties all over you cabin. I cleaned my own hotel room and cabin with products I bring. And then I know it's clean
