The second half of our two week trip was much better as the islands we visited had not been seriously impacted by the hurricanes.

Magens Bay Beach Getaway excursion: able to snorkel by swimming from the beach to where the catamarans had anchored...lots

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Lost out on our pre-arranged excursion of "Snorkel St. Kitts" as not enough people signed- up. But we took a tour through "Annies" of the ship of the island and it was well worth it...toured the magnificent fort and island.

St. John's, Antigua

Antigua Beach Express: nice if all you want to do is bask in the sun and swim...no snorkeling allowed and watch out for the wave runners!

Castries, St. Lucia

Pitons Cruise & Snorkel: Great catamaran cruise from the port around the tip of St. Kitts to the Pitons and snorkeling in a protected estuary...watch out for the rocks and gravel before you swim out.

Quick...1st off at 7:20 am and to the airport with plenty of time to make a 10:55 am flight!

This was our first cruise. i cant say enough wonderful things about this experience. We had a wonderful wait staff in the Tides Resturant. Nelson Dominguez was kind, attentive to our every request and I felt he went way above and beyond.
