Cabin / Stateroom

It was small but efficient and comfortable. Our attendent was wonderful. We would definitely book this cabin again.
Old San Juan was our favorite. There is still hurricane damage but it was intersting to learn about the damage and recovery. We did an excursion thru the ship to tour old and new San Juan and the transport us to the airport.
This island needs visitors spending money. They have much recovery needed. We took an island tour when we entered the port. It was very educational and interesting.
Our tour was very organized but this was the only island where the panhandlers were a bit much. They really seem to need the money. We saw the waterfall, fort, and Anse beach. This was my favorite beach during the cruise.
Formal night was suit and tie. Cocktail dresses. The were two casual nights. A white night and a tropical night. Some people went all out with tuxes and sequined gowns but a sports jacket with tie would be fine. I work a simple black cocktail dress which worked well. A shirt with a collar and slacks works fine for non formal nights. We really liked the dining room.
We booked a tour that was through Amigo tours. It covered the Dutch and French sides of St Maarten. They took us to Maho beach but it did not have many planes coming in because most of the hotels were closed. I don’t remember the name of the other beach but it was nice. The only thing I will raise a red flag on is that there was heavy traffic coming back and time got tight for getting back on the ship. It was a fun tour on an air-conditioned coach bus.
Thank u for all your reviews. We are going on the same cruise in April & I wanted to know what we could do on each island. Did you go to beaches on the dutch or french side?
