Review summary

We had a amazing experience in the Jewel of the Seas; both, my wife and I would give it an overall score of 10 out of 10. However, for first time users, I advice the company to give people a flyer explain how things work: restaurants, schedules, tips, special offers, etc. Having said that, again, we are absolutely happy with the experience and cannot wait to go on another cruise...

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was a very smooth process... very organized and swift.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
My wife and I have traveled extensively, but it was our first time on a cruise. We were both astonished at the great quality of the a la carte restaurant (Tides dinning room) and the buffet dinning room (Windjammer Cafe). We also loved the snacks we had almost every night in the solarium snack bar; great quality food and amazing friendly service.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the comedy shows, art shows, rock-climbing, and Latin dancing!!!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We had a great time dancing... although we wished they did not stop so early in the night.

Vortex Nightclub

1 out of 5

The Vortex was the only disappointment in our experience. Out of the 3 o 4 times we went there, the place was always empty and dull.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Both, my wife and I are diplomats, and as such have had a wide range of experiences in different countries and venues. We both agree that the service that we received at TABLE 485, with Matija and Ariel, was one of the HIGHEST QUALITY we have ever had!!! Their respect, professionalism, knowledge and humor, made our experience an unforgettable one. I, without a doubt, give them both my highest recommendation.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved our room. It had everything we needed and it was kept clean by the friendly staff.

Ship tip

To find out about general information about how things work once in the ship. Unfortunately, since it was our first time in a cruise we were a bit lost and confused in the beginning (i.e. restaurants, schedules, offers, stands, towels, etc.).
