Review summary

I was very disappointed with this cruise experience.  I expected more from RCI.

The food selection was poor and the food quality was disappointing.  I felt the buffet area was not cleaned to a high standard.  There was trash and food on the floor on the back patio.  Things in general seemed to be disorganized. They would only open one side of the buffet in the morning for breakfast, so food was picked over and the wait for omelets was ridiculous.  There seemed to be lack of activities on board.  Evening theater performances started late on 2 occasions.

On a positive note.....the room was nice and service was good.  The evening entertainment over-all was good.  The shore excursions were good.

We liked the cabin on the 11th floor. A nice quiet hallway and close to dining, pool, theater. Our cabin attendant was efficient. Only drawback is that you can hear the morning runners on the track above.

Ship tip

We did not try any of the specialty restaurants, but from others who did.....the experience and quality of the food was not worth the extra money.
