Not So Royal Treatment

Sail Date: March 20, 2016

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

Let me start by saying the ship had one more voyage before it was to be completely remodeled so this has nothing to do with the condition of the ship.  With the exception of our cabin attendant the majority of the staff were rude, unhelpful or simply ignored you.  We were asked to change dining assignments to help accommodate a larger group which we did.  Had we known what we were getting we would not.  Corner, forgotten and cold food.  Room service not much better.  Took an hour to get half of what we ordered...sandwiches with no tops and salads with no dressing.  Ports were nice.

Bridgetown, Barbados
Beaches were nice. Town was a bit grungy and scared the teens.
Castries, St. Lucia
Beautiful Island. Wear a dark suit if going to mud bath or it'll never come clean.
St. John's, Antigua
Beaches more like crushed shell but beautiful people were not friendly to tourists.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
People were fantastic island clean see the planes over the beach and then find a quieter beach to relax. There are nude beaches so pick carefully.
Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.
Drinking liquor pigs are a must see and cheap.

Buy photo package before boarding or first few days when they are cheapest. Royal Replenish covers smoothies and Starbucks lattes etc.
