Review summary

Ship was old and many spaces not utilized appropriately. Disappointed that it was not very family friendly for kids under 12. Slide only open three hours a day. Kiddie pool was overcrowded the day at sea and disgusting!!! With things of unknown origin floating. This pool was meant for under five year olds. The solarium pool hardly used by the older generation. Of course they want to be where the fun is, unless you have one foot in the ground. What a waste of space. Never would go on another cruise ship with "solarium pool". Disney definately has the market on families that like to cruise.   Shame on royal Caribbean. Stop promoting fun for all. Clearly for 25 and over crowd. The shows were pitiful!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Waiters were fabulous. Food was mediocre. I guess RCL would like you to pay for the more expensive finer dining. Which the food was awesome!! Again, shame on RCL.

Onboard Activities

Again, this ship really is not geared for under 12

Children's Programs

Daughter went several times and ended up leaving after about 15 minutes. Made friend and hung out with them. She bailed on kids club.

Service and Staff

Loved all of the staff. My cabin Stewart was fabulous. Left her an extra tip. Our waiter were great!!

Ship Quality

Needs updating and analyzed or optimal use of space.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was always clean. The sofa bed needs to be updated. The crew did work on the balcony when we were on an excursion one day and left flecks of paint that were scraped all over our table, chairs and clothes that were left outside to dry. They also left a rusted bolt on the floor from the railing. Two days later someone cleaned it up.

Ship tip

The main pool is not crowded when the ship is in port. Daughter was able to meet up with other kids to swim and have great memories.
