Review summary
We absolutely loved the Jewel of the Seas. This is our 7th cruise, 3 on Royal Caribbean, 2 on Costa, 1 on NCL, and one on Princess. Royal Caribbean seems to have much better rewards for past passengers than the other cruise lines.
Even though this was not a huge ship it never really seemed crowded. We had excellent service: a terrific cabin steward - Ed, and a wonderful server - Christina. We enjoyed the lounges and dancing on the ship. Our dining companions were so much fun! The itinerary was excellent, only one day at sea. Embarkation was extremely easy and well organized.
Negatives - don't take an iron. We were not aware of this and it was taken at the beginning of the cruise and returned to us on disembarkation.
There is lots of deck space but they reallly could use more lounge chairs in different areas of the ship, not necessarily around the pool.
It was a wonderful week!

Ship tip
Seaview café was a really nice alternative for lunch. You are able to take 2 bottles of wine on board to be enjoyed in your stateroom. Barbados - go to Boatyard beach!! Dominica - do the Champagne Catamaran - it was FABULOUS!
