Loved the first two weeks of our cruise, everything I had dreamed of; however, in the 3rd week the schedule for most of the entertainment changed on the ship and because we were on the late dining schedule of 7.30, we would miss a lot. We loved the ports of Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Astoria, but the closer we got to Canada, the colder it got, so you needed different clothing for the 3rd week, esp. when you were in Victoria and Vancouver. Overall, it was a fantastic cruise.

This was definitely one of my favorite trips since it was on my bucket list. Definitely would recommend this trip to anyone. Just remember Princess is not for everyone. It’s for those who enjoy a slower pace and want to relax. Looking forward to the next one.

Besides ports of call that were horrible (but expected, knowing those were the ports, the cruise was great, Princess does a great job.

We would not choose the Island Princess again. Didn’t seem to be kept up well. Previously, we’d decided that Princess was our favorite cruise line, but this cruise didn’t seem to be up to the other ones.

This was definitely a bucket list trip - the Panama Canal was really interesting and I enjoyed seeing a little bit of Central America.

All in all, my Panama Canal Cruise was all I had wanted it to be and more. I had wanted to see it all my life and it exceeded my expectations. That doesn't happen very often any more. I LOVED: --The cruise itinerary--five picturesque ports in five amazing countries --The friendly and interesting fellow travelers on the Island Princess --Their wonderful and accommodating staff --The lovely local people that we met --The stunning vistas we saw --The delicious food we ate --The relaxing and "rebooting" we did and Best of all, getting to share it all with my family. My husband and I always wanted to: Cruise the ocean Travel the world Live out the dream So, folks, I wanna ride again!! P.S. I have photos I can upload, but couldn't figure your system out.

Overall we thought it was a great cruise. Princess did a good job overall.

The objective of cruising thru the canal was met, the suite was miserable, service excellent.

I traveled with 2 other friends and we had a great experience. We enjoyed the comedy show and the movie nights. The food was delicious. We felt very well cared for. We enjoyed the excursions. I do wish that getting around the ship was a bit easier to navigate.

Overall great cruise. Relaxing. Good food. Nice ports. Most excursions were good. Go for a balcony if you can. Lovely to sit on balcony while ship goes thru locks. Order room service that day

A tremendous experience! We had a great time with no problems whatsoever. We will do a cruise again - for sure.

For us a disappointing cruise. Not bad, just nowhere near as good as our previous Princess cruises, or our other Celebrity and Disney cruises. I feel like a lot of the cruise lines seem to move the best staff, entertainment and focus on their latest flag ships, so the older cruise ships and itineraries suffer because of this, and maybe that’s what the case was here. I know there were lots of people on board that thought it was great and had no problems, so this is purely my opinion, but as a frequent cruiser, I won’t be rushing back to Princess any time soon.

Very nice ship; clean and good service. Older and smaller ship, but with the necessary touches & activities to keep us entertained and enjoying our vacation.

For a floating retirement home, it's not a bad cruise, except for the food and the excessive norovirus!

So to sum this up. The ship left on time. The seas were rough and we couldn't dock in Jamaica. Met some folks that were sea sick. Most of the crew spoke broken English and at times there would be a communication problem. part way through the cruise the ship encountered the Norovirus and even the buffet became a pain, you couldn't even get your own coffee. Now I understand that these problems were not the fault of the ship or crew, but it was our 30th anniversary. Would I do it again "probably not". Would recommend to friends "probably not". It seemed pricey for what we got.

Loved the cruise. Probably one of my favorites. I call it for us, the Trip of our Lifetime! ❣

NEVER HAVE HAD A BAD CRUISE FOOD AND ON BOARD ACTIVITIES NEED TO BE IMPROVED. PROBABLY LAST CRUISE WITH PRINCESS. WILL STAY WITH ROYAL CARRIBEAN AND CARNIVAL ON FUTURE CRUISES.

Princess is a lovely cruise line and they do not disappoint. They do need to reign in the behavior of some of their entertainment staff, for example Oliver. The cruise has a lot of seniors on board and young folks tend to be few. Some of the things that happened to us with Oliver, my 30 year old kids and one bar waiter felt creepy. Room and dining staff were absolutely superb. If I can fault princess on one thing.....they need to stop making folks with full drink packages chase down bottled water one bar a time (they will only give you one bottle, so you need to run all over the ship collecting bottled water so you can put a few in your refrig.) Otherwise, they bring bottled water to your room BUT they charge you 2.50 for a small bottle and 3.75 for a liter, AFTER you paid for a premium drink package. Nickel and dime crap for a cruise that is not cheap. Get over yourselves Princess. Also, supervise you entertainers so they are not trying to party with young guests who are not interested and are not kissing people's wives necks as part of their act and behaving generally like idiots on a cruise line designed for experienced cruisers and older folks. (Send Oliver to Carnival). The last thing I expected was an undercurrent of creepiness by certain folks on a Princess Cruise. (I am a still practicing psych nurse of 43 years and I have been around the block). (FYI- My kids chose Princess because they wanted a low key, quiet cruise. I will go on any cruise line.)
