Review summary

For my first cruise I was impressed! It’s amazing to me how they move so many people on and off this ship and stay in schedule. I enjoyed an experience where instead of me running from hotel to hotel my hotel travelled with me. I will definitely cruise again! I can see why Alaska is a different experience. There was already so much to see from the ship, i don think we were ever sailing where we couldn’t see an island, waterfall, glacier, lighthouse. Princess helped us to come back new and amazed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We had good food. At times something was overlooked but most everything was good. We tried Sabitinis and it was good, but honestly the food in the main dining was just as good. Buffet was good but honestly only wen here for a few breakfasts.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
This is an older ship so no zip lines or go-carts. There wasn’t a lot going on past 10:00 pm and this was an older person cruise as most people were 15 to 20 years older than us. We’re in our late 40’s. However, this was not a big deal for ya at all. We enjoy talking with older folks and I was there to see Alaska not ride a go cart. Lol.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows and performers were really great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We received great service most all the time.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I thought the ship looked good especially for it being an older ship.

Ship tip

it’s not a floating Disneyland like I’ve heard about on other ships. But it is a classy and fun sailing experience!

Cruise Glacier Bay

By far the best most beautiful of the glacier viewing. Make sure you’d cruise is visiting Glacier bay.

Skagway, Alaska

Loved this little town, it’s relaxed feel. Do the White pass rail. Great food at Jewel Gardens and the Skagway Brewing company.

Juneau, Alaska

Most things to do. Wish we had more time in this port. Had a great salmon bake experience!

Ketchikan, Alaska

Fun town! Would have liked more time here as well. Did a seaplane and crab feast here and both were amazing!

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

Beautiful city! We stayed a few days here and went to Stanley Park and took a carriage ride. Went to Capilano suspension bridge which we really loved spent 3 hours there! We also visited Gastown and Granville island.
