Review summary

Island Princess was fantastic - from the time they met us at Fairbanks Airport, their organization and scheduling was suberb with the luggage, transportation, hotels, embarkation & disembarkation was a breeze too. Staff were friendly and helpful. But please, please upgrade to softer toilet rolls!

Ship tip

Enjoy the cruse and if going to Alaska, would recommend the land tour starting from Fairbanks. Dress in layers and enjoy yourself!

Great Hotel and service. As part of the land tour, transport from Denali to Anchorage /Whittier presented fantastic views, including spawling salmon. Alaska Conservation Center was the only place we saw bears, there are other animals there too.

Skagway, Alaska

Took the White Pass Rail, but would recommend the bus and train combination, although it would have been longer. Excellent weather!

Juneau, Alaska

Wonderful tour of Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Quest.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Good shopping port. Mist Fjords and wilderness tour. Weather was excellent and sunny, so no mists!

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

Stayed longer on our own. Vancouver and Whistler has wonderful sights, but need more time there.
