Review summary
Each day was better than the previous one. One Adventure after another! It was truly the trip of a lifetime. Would love to go back one day. Crew and staff were extremely attentive. Cruising Glacier Bay was my favorite day on board the ship. We opted to go on the sanctuary deck. What a wonderful experienceEmbarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Bayou Cafe & Steakhouse
Food was too salty and heavily seasoned. Not one out of four would return to the Bayou Cafe. Thankfully it was a free meal and did not come out of our pocket.
Onboard Activities
Sanctuary
We were on the sanctuary deck for Glacier Bay day. What an amazing sight it was to see from that Vantage Point. Even though we had our own balcony, I didn't want to be running back and forth from one side of the deck to the other in order to view both sides of the ship while cruising through the glacier. The staff was so attentive and just waited on you hand and foot. The hot chocolate kept coming and the blankets were always warm!
Photo Gallery
We typically by many photos. However, the clarity and posing of the photos on the Island Princess were not something that we cared to purchase. Seems the photographers may need more experience.
Entertainment
Princess Theater
The seating in The Princess Theater was extremely comfortable. Always enough room for guests and completely enjoyed every show that we were there for
