Review summary

It was a beautiful cruise, with a couple of exceptions. The free style dining did not work so free style- I guess more people opted for that choice. The first few nights of  the cruise the line/wait to be seated was unreasonably long. Although I must say the staff  (Moises) handled the situation in a very  pleasant manner.

The Waiters were warm and professional, in particular Karina  in the anytime dining room-Lovely young lady. Sayrel  Xnesa, waiter, in the reserved seating dining room was also exceptional. Our room steward, Marlon was also exceptional.

Thanks for a beautiful cruise!!!

We haven't been on the Island Princess since it was refurbished . Princess has a number you can call for more info. I looked for a E-mail address and couldn't find one. If you are working with a travel agent they may be able to help you.

I am so sorry to bother you, but I was considering booking this cruise on the Island Princess...and even the staff at Princess cannot answer this, but we are trying to figure out if there is a smoking area on deck 15...I know since the ship was refurbished last year that the sanctuary is now where the smoking area was...did you happen to see if there was a smoking area there??

We had always opted for the anytime dining and didn't have a problem because we usually went early. This last cruise, we accidentally were assigned to set-time dining. We actually liked it. We went in and headed directly to our assigned table between about 5:45 pm. We got to know our table mates and enjoyed them. We were all different personalities with different experiences, so the conversations were interesting and animated. Our timing allows us to get to the show with plenty of time to spare. Surprisingly to us, we have already signed up for this type of dining on our next cruise. 😁👏🚢
