Bed bugs onboard by Chezy70

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Iona

Cruise liner Iona just too busy and everything booked up via the app therefore no chance to book most things. Restaurants very chaotic. Bed bugs just topped it off!

The cruise was good, but only good. by theface72

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Iona

Overall we enjoyed our cruise on Iona (2nd time on her) , but we can’t help but notice that standards are slipping in some areas & unfortunately towards the end of our cruise we all became ill with gastroenteritis. P&O medical team very good, but also wanted us off ship very quickly which felt unprofessional. The ship is fantastic and huge but lacks the personal feel such as Azura or Arcadia.

The cruise wasn't what I anticipated due to health issues but I really enjoyed the first 3 days.

A wonderful cruise by iKimmy59

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Iona

The destination. The weather. The entertainment just great. Having 2 weeks hols makes a difference. But due to the large ships. The ships have got larger BUT the disembarkation area has NOT been extended!! This was an awful experience. May NOT cruise again.

Shame about the staff by RoyUK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Iona

Our second cruise to Norway with two new stops. The weather was excellent which helped a lot. The new stops were a lot better than I expected. I do think Fjords cruises are for those who like hiking or long coach rides. We were told the best time to visit is in the spring.

Not using P and O again by Polsteadcruiser

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Iona

Staff were very good, in particular the restaurant we used most days : Aqua Ship is to big for me with to many people. Lots of entertainment places get booked up P and O shore excursions were very poor for wheelchair users. Indeed we could only book mini bus rides that drive around and look out the windows. However we booked ourselves onto excursions and saved money. Bottom line is they don’t put themselves out for you if you are disabled. It’s a sort of discrimination. Unless they can make money out of you they don’t want to know.

Amazing by InnocentDaz

Great first cruise with P&O. Will be coming back. Despite a shortage of staff, due to a chickenpox outbreak among staff, they did a great job.

Spectacular Fjords! by mickeymacs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Iona

This was my first P and O experience and it won’t be the last. The ship was twice the size of my previous cruise ships but I was fine. It was busy but never felt over crowded.

Locations are stunning, but service onboard was poor, not enough staff by martyncoup

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Iona

Overall, the scenery is great, the ports are pretty decent, but sadly the ship, although impressive just does not have enough staff. There is no wonder the staff are so miserable when they're trying to do so much.

Breathtaking scenery and quirky shops by sarahbradley

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Iona

We booked about 2 weeks before the cruise. I was impressed with the ship Iona. Very tastefully decorated and beautifully designed. Excellent food particularly as I’m intolerant to gluten and dairy and was very easy to navigate food in all venues on board. Staff very friendly. We were quite tired as lots of walking and hiking and exploring so we didn’t do as many onboard activities as available but we loved the trip and exploring at each port. I would recommend this ship and Itinary. I would go on ship again.
