Review summary

The most amazing place we have ever been. I think this would be a cruise we could do a few times as so many things to do.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Was our first cruise since COVID and was a lot different to before. It took us a while to board which was stressful for our autistic daughter but once staff knew her situation they were absolutely brilliant and got us onboard quickly. We are organised for the next cruise in October.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room was comfortable and looks lovely. The food was very nice and the service was friendly. They gave my daughter a child menu as she didn't want the food on the main menu

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There is plenty of onboard activities. Swimming pools, sports area, mini water play area, deck games including ping pong and giant chess, 4 screen cinema. Kids clubs and pub quiz. Retreat for relaxing and gym for those who don't miss a day. 7 days is not enough time to explore ship when only 2 sea days .

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Plenty of entertainment in various different venues. The acrobat shows in sky dome are breathtaking. Pulse and she were brilliant.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very friendly and helpful. Work long hours but always have a smile for you

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean and spacious. Didn't take long to find your way around at all. Colour coded disks for front, mid and rear of ship were very useful. After watching you tube, it looked to be like a glorified ferry as it seemed too open but once on board it was actually very well designed. I think it is actually my new favourite ship and would definitely go on again.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was clean and modern. Phone chargers in lamps beside the bed. Separate power supply for the kettle leaving power point for hair straightener. Lots of storage space and wardrobe space. We kept cases under beds. There are no drawers for underwear so we took packing cubes and placed them on the shelves and they worked a treat. The bathroom was spacious and again plenty of storage space.

Ship tip

Don't listen to the negatives as you will be put off. Go on board and make up your own mind. What one person doesn't like isn't necessary what you don't like either. We are all different. X

Ports of call

Olden, Norway

5 out of 5
Lovely port with the real essence of Norwegian life. This was our favourite port . We took the open bus tour but on our next visit we will do the troll cars

Alesund, Norway

5 out of 5
We visited the aquarium and it was a lovely day out

Southampton (London), England

Lovely port with plenty of cruise ships in

Haugesund

Next time we visit, we will have a ship day. Wasn't impressed with the port but then it's not to say others wouldn't like it. I think this is the port to do an excursion on. The land train was a waste of money for us personally and we did regret it as only a tour of the town. We could have walked around the town really.

Stavanger, Norway

5 out of 5
Lovely port with the oil rig museum and a lovely lake with water fountain

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and simple. You get a time the night before but everyone out of cabin by 8am. We actually got asked to leave earlier as it was running so smoothly.
