Review summary

Overall, a fantastic Norwegian Fjords cruise, on a beautiful ship! Crew and other guests were lovely, and made some great friends whilst onboard!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was very quick and easy, so much better than what I expected!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food and drink onboard was superb, particularly the afternoon tea at Epicurean!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty of onboard activities taking place throughout the day, but didn't really try many! However, I did have a go at Archery and that was good fun!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Entertainment was fantastic, especially at The Club House, 710 Club and Limelight Club in particular! Lee Mead provided a great night of entertainment, and DJ Alex was such a nice guy too!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Honestly could not fault the service provided by the onboard crew, they all went above and beyond to ensure everybody had a great time!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Still not 100% decided on whether the layout could be better, but everything was spotless and well-maintained onboard!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was in a perfect location on the ship, bed closest to balcony, so was perfect for those early mornings, sailing through the Fjords.

Ship tip

Ignore all of the negativity, she's a lovely ship!

Ports of call

Haugesund

1 out of 5
I really was not impressed with Haugesund, just a refuelling point for the ship! Unfortunately I never booked an excursion for this port, but will most definitely do so if I'm ever to visit again!

Olden, Norway

5 out of 5
The highlight of my cruise, such a wonderful place with rolling mountains and once in a lifetime scenic views, especially from the Loen Skylift!

Stavanger, Norway

5 out of 5
A great day in Stavanger, I did the Pulpit Rock cruise excursion and thoroughly enjoyed it, stunning scenery and magical waterfalls. Then a wander around the town before boarding ship again.

Alesund, Norway

3 out of 5
Not a bad port but nothing really to rave about! I did thoroughly enjoy the Hjørundfjord river cruise excursion though!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was quick and easy, they were running ahead of schedule, so final call to disembark was at about 09:30am. Off the ship and exiting the terminal in under 10 minutes!

Traveler Photos

Afternoon Tea at Epicurean! Lee Mead in Limelight Club! One of the fantastic waiters in Aqua restaurant! Great aft cabin, very quiet and perfectly located for main dining rooms, The Quays and The Club House too! Iona playing hide & seek in Stavanger! Lien Skylift! Hjørundfjord! The view from the Fjellstua Viewpoint was unbelievable! Haugesund Harbour Park!
