The ship is renovated and beautiful astheticly. Its clean and large and the shops are high end. The service and attention to detail when it comes to experience is what's lacking. This is my 9th cruise and rates about a 4 for me with what my expectations were vs what I received.

Absolutely the best cruise we’ve ever been on, and it was our 16th cruise! Norway is a place of incredible beauty. Think Alaska but Better! The ship is magnificent as well. The Flam Railway is a must do excursion. Put this cruise on the top of your bucket list! The one low point was Molde, Norway. The weather didn’t cooperate so we didn’t get to see the 222 mountain peaks and there not much else to do in Molde.

Scenery was stunning, people friendly, cabin gorgeous. But the food was such a disappointment. Having to pay for everything - in-room movies, fish and chips, ice cream - was really off-putting. And there was nothing special: no afternoon teas, no special brunches, no glorious desserts. The food was presented poorly and often not prepared well. We missed the special touches from Princess: chocolates on the pillow, live string quartets, in-room movies, and the spa's Chocolate Indulgence body treatments.

Will not be sailing with Royal Carribean again! Boring ship for young adults & middle age.

everything about this ship was great, I could pick on thing but even in the perfect situation there will be things that certain people wont like, the one piece of advice I would past on to future cruises book a suite so you can experience concierge service, I know its more expensive but trust me best money you will ever spend

Word of advise do not leave your travel documents otherwise you will not feel very royal.

We had a fantastic time. A much needed get away. Crew was awesome as well as all the specialty restaurants. Would recommend Independence and Royal Caribbean anytime

The cruise was very relaxing. Starting with the booking process with our cruise agent Lexi from . She was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The crew onboard were courteous and professional. The food was delicious!! It was a great vacation!!

We truly enjoyed our first cruise with Royal Caribbean and look forward to planning another one. It was an amazing experience.

Independence was great. While not as big and fancy as the Oasis class ships, she is beautiful in her own right. Loved the size, as we never felt crowded. We had a great trip!

We had a great time on this boat. Fun, clean, enjoyable all around.

Overall, I found the trip relaxing. However, the food was absolutely miserable, and the state of the ship is in dire need of refurbishment and furniture replacement. Old and unpleasant lounge chairs / sofas all over. Just looks like it's been in service for a very long time with a very rough crowd.

Please reimburse my Expenses $ 375.00 x rays, $ 90.00 doctor $ 150.00 tips AND MY RUINED CRUISE.

The ship is beautiful, the food delicious. The entertainment wa great. Bathrooms kept clean. The pools and hot tub was great. It was so much food morning noon and night..The workers . I really will sail was great kind and respectful sail again...

This trip was a rewarding experience to myself and wife who find ourselves working even when we are on vacation. We finally overcame that by going on this cruise where we had the freedom to enjoy each other's company in the comfort and splendor on board the Independence Of The Seas. We are already planning a family vacation in the not too distant future.

We were both very pleased with the entire experience. We will be cruising again and will definitely be looking at Royal Caribbean as a cruise line.

Wonderful cruise. Would do it again on this ship. I liked the ship for the layout and it did not disappoint.

Would definitely recommend this ship. Great for familes and friends. Customer service was great. Some of the decks design were beautiful. Good Food for everyone. Buy a booze package as expensive like anywhere else.
