Word of advise do not leave your travel documents otherwise you will not feel very royal.
Embarkation

I love Royal caribbean they are always my first choice if tge price is right. Un fortunately this trip was rather a poor experience, 1St I forgot my travel document at home and missed my cruise My family was able to go ahead so that was nice as I was able to book a flight to the next embankment location and that's where the bad experience was. First thing I was escorted to customer service there was no explanation for this process so I felt like a convict or something. Then they took my passport, and there was no explanation for that, the experience followed when I had to meet with a custom officer at 6:45 in the morning auth my luggage, I was told I was going to be collecying my pp but I was then told I am being escorted from the boat no chance for breakfast or anything, my family could not even come with me, this was absolutely disappointed. This experience really to the taste for another cruise out my taste buds

Ship tip
First time cruisers, always question a charge before you swipe your key card, otherwise you will be disappointed with charges you have at the end.
The port was beautiful, very disappointed with being held up in customs for a tax/fee that had to be paid in cash before before I could join my family on the cruise. I didn't have any cash so this was rather embarrassing
I was escorted like a prisoner with out the rest of my family was not even allowed to have breakfast wrath my family before departure. This was not a great feeling
I am such an anxious person, I worry about forgetting something important every time I cruise, and I’m an experienced cruiser, cruising since 1995! I have reminder notes and lists EVERYWHERE! I check and double check! And I still stay up worrying! Lol!
Once we were on a ship and it was last day. A lady was with her family (5) others, and they made them wait until the ship was empty to get off, the reason, she packed ALL documentes in suitcases, they had to wait and then go down with guards to find her luggage and get passports , birth certificates etc. I felt bad for her but you have to have all that in your hand when getting on or off.
