Review summary

The Icon of the Seas was a perfect boat for our family of four with late elementary age kids. There was so much to do on board and we loved all the different neighborhoods and restaurants scatterd throughout. It did not feel crowded even though there were about 6000 passengers on board!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We loved how many small restaurant there were scattered around the ship. We never waited in long lines!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We loved the waterslides, hot tubs, and pools! We did the rock climbing wall and mini golf several times.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The main stage shows were amazing as were the water and ice skating show. The musicians around the ship were incredible.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
My older son loved the kids program but my younger, more introverted daughter found it a bit overwhelming. It was pretty open ended/kids choice and I think she would have benefitted from more structure there.

Ship tip

Book a room near an elevator bank on the 8th floor by central park, such a great location!
