Review summary
My family voted to try a large new mega ship and choose this cruise. The price for a interior room was a bit higher than we paid for our last balcony cruise but we all wanted to try a new large ship. The Icon was defiantly a Icon and was very cool inside. The Pearl was amazing and one of my favorite parts as well as the huge pool. The room was a bit too warm for us but otherwise was comfortable for three. The food was ok but not great at least for the free options. We tried one extra charge restaurant, hooked seafood, and the food was great but pricy. The ship was very colorful with lots of greens and yellows. The main negative I have is the crowds. My vacation did not feel like a vacation to me having to always deal with lines and crowds. We still did not learn the ship by the time we got off but we all agree these mega ships are not for us. Very nice and lots to do but just too many people. We waited so long for elevators, lines for food, lines for pool towels, lines for everything. Think Disney on July 4.Embarkation
