This cruise requires planning to truly enjoy. Dining, activities, shows, all have limited capacity and times, so if you don't plan and reserve early, you won't get to do them.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining room meals were very good. Specialty dinner at Chop's Steak House was not noticeably better than the main dining and took much longer. My one complaint is the limited times you can get breakfast and lunch in the main dining rooms -- the show reservations we were able to make were late at night, so we wanted to sleep in the next morning. If you weren't seated in the dining room by 9:30am for breakfast, your only option was the buffet. The main dining lunch times were limited also. The late night food options were basically limited to just pizza - there is no late night buffet.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We used the pools, fitness center, rock climbing wall, abyss slide, carousel, and putt-putt. All activities were fun! My only complaint is the limited times each of these were open. We had a full ship with 6600 passengers. I expected these activities to be available most of the day, not just limited times during the day.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Shows were very good. Especially The Thin Line aqua show!
Children's Programs
3 out of 5
Saw the black light puppet show and made a volcano in the science lab, but my daughter (7 year old) was not interested in staying in the kids club without us. She said she was, but each time we visited, the kids were playing Gaga Ball and some of the boys were pretty roudy, so she didn't want to stay.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our main dining waiter, Dennis, was great! Our room steward, Janice, was great too!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship was large and common areas felt roomy (which is impressive with 6600 passengers on-board). Ship was clean and beautiful!
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The cabin was kept clean and tidy. Size is comparable to other ships we have been on. We had a balcony room with 2 adults and 1 child (7 year old).
Ship tip
Reserve shows far in advance (can do it online). Read your Cruise Compass for the next day each night and pay attention to the times the different activities are available. Several of the on-board activities have very limited times they are open.
The island had a lot of areas to explore and plenty of lounge chairs. The fresh water pool was freezing cold. Unfortunately, it started pouring rain before noon, so our cruise ship did not get to enjoy the island long.
It seems like you gave every port only 2 stars because you didn't like the prices of merchandise. It seems unfair since you didn't take excursions to really see these places. Not sure what type of pricing people expect. These people need to make a living so can't just give stuff away.
Planning ahead is the key to an enjoyable experience. Those that don’t plan and like to be spontaneous are disappointed when things are already booked.
