Review summary

Even though my reviews were harsh above, We really did enjoy ourselves. We kept our activities to the off times and it worked out beautifully. This was my daughters and granddaughters first cruise and they seemed to enjoy themselves. Hubby and I will stay with the smaller ships when traveling alone. We are Loyal to Royal and have learned this over the years!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food is better than the Radiance class and the same as the Freedom Class. My granddaughter loved "The Jammer" as she called it. I think she has a love affair with that place. Chops Grille never disappoints...except they have priced themselves over what its really worth. Dining Room was ok but felt rushed as they were using our dining deck as the My time dining Deck starting at 6:30

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools way too crowded...Use the hot tubs after dinner though and they were empty. Nice! All slides were fun even me..a Grandma...

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Only attended the Ice show as the weather was so bad they had to reschedule the high dive act multiple times and we missed our chance. The stage shows we have seen before and they are ok. The Jazz Band in Jazz on 4 was phenomenal. Would go back just to see them again.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great Service by all we came in contact with.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
With 6100 guest aboard, I was surprised how spot less it was!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Not much storage space compared with other classes of ships but the design was beautiful. We had an adjoining cabin next door and my granddaughter could go thru either the inside door or the balcony. Nice feature! We love our cabin.

Ship tip

Try not to sail the third week in January...Leaving on a Sunday...A group will always 0ver take this week on most of the large ships out of Florida. The Solarium Bistro is used for Kosher only food. Their kids over run the adults only Solarium with no repercutions and use the Central Park as their play ground. Live and Learn!

Not sure why you did not care for Costa Maya and Roatan. Those are two excellent porch with lots of things to do with a little research ahead of time.
