Review summary

Great cruise with no real problems with having 6000 cruisers on board. Except for parades and getting out of shows, it was easy flowing throughout the ship. Royal Caribbean has got this down to a science. The Royal IQ app was helpful on keeping up with the compass and your on board expenses.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in the main dining room, windjammer and solarium café was as good or better than previous cruises. The fact that this was the President's cruise might have been a factor.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Most shows were outstanding, the Columbus show however should be avoided.

Ship tip

It is easy to get turned around and on the wrong side of the ship, especially on deck 7 where you cannot walk across. The ship is laid out in four colors for each quadrant which makes it easier.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Nassau, Bahamas

fine if you've never been here- always interesting to just walk around. Were not here long enough to get too involved.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

great views and scenery. This is a US territory so that cell phones work here.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Interesting port with two forts within walking distance. Also part of the US.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Well laid out beach destination with barbeque and other facilities. Many activities to keep you busy.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Somewhat confusing and not laid out well. There are two areas for luggage- one for even numbers and one for odd numbers. The expedited exit line for global entry and mobile passport is not well marked. It is basically in the center of the facility.
