Ship tip

Visit the park cafè for late night snacks, and definitely bring entertainment, the programs on tv is repetitive, if getting picture package definitely take advantage of all the photo opportunities

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
Nothing to do in the immediate vicinity, we rented a car from the nearby Enterprise/ Alamo and went to Orlando. It was cheaper to rent a car than to go through the excursion for the shuttle to the mall

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
The thrill park isn’t necessary but it is fun to just chill in the park. Cococay is definitely the best part of the cruise

Charleston, South Carolina

3 out of 5
There is a free shuttle that will take you around the city. Didn’t do an excursion but just went around the city.

Nassau, Bahamas

Went on the pearl island excursion and the island was private. They got us back early enough to visit the shops.

Baltimore, Maryland

Disembarkation

Expected to be in and out, our luggage number was called off, went down and stood almost 30-45 minutes to finally be let out to retrieve our luggage

Our first cruise was 10 years ago on the Grandeur and we loved it. Been cruising ever since. Have tried many different ships and haven't been disappointed on any of them.

Glad you enjoyed it and didn’t let some negative reviews discourage you. I always smile when I read the reviews where people complain that a ship that holds 2,500 passengers was too small. They never would have survived cruising in the 80s when a ship that held 750 was considered huge. As far as the wait for debarkation, we always do self-debarkation and take our own luggage and are off very quickly.
