For first time cruising I was impressed. I can’t think of much I didn’t like/enjoy except the bed in our room. I’m ready to go again. The staff we had on the Granduer impressed me enough that I don’t want to sail on another ship.

Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Ships entertainment was like a Vegas show. The 3 comedians where side splitting and they offered early shows to include children. We took our 10 year old and she loved it
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
Based on the fact our 10 year old refused to miss the kids club. It looked a bit small but full of activity and fun. Our child rushed through 7pm dinner service so she could do the 3rd session each day.

Ship tip
Expect an older crowd. Cruisers of all ages but primarily 50 plus crowd
I’m a history buff so I love Charleston. It was the coldest/windiest day of the year when we arrived. Rest of the family not impressed. Would have done the 2 hour buggy tour had weather been nicer.
Not sure about local excursions. We took our 10 year old to magic kingdom for first trip to Disney. We did everything we wanted to do in the 6 hours we had.
Blue lagoon was amazing. We did close encounter with the dolphins. Definitely worth it. Would suggest sea lion encounter from observing it. A lot of cruisers walked to the nearby public beach. Atlantis looked amazing from afar. Nassau itself not impressive. Was probably a lot nicer 20 years ago. Told by locals they weren’t affected by the hurricanes. But kinda looks the opposite.
