Review summary

The best thing about this cruise is its staff who are very diligent, friendly, organized and really care for the passengers.  We are very impressed with the cruise director and his wife who tried very hard to mingle with the passengers and their programs are focused on people.  Their stateroom and dinner room servers are all very well trained to carry our duties professionally.  This compensates the relatively lower quality of the food and production shows when compared to other cruise lines such as Princess and Norwegians.  The ship is old but maintained well and clean but the stateroom window frames are rusted and did not give a good first impression when enter the room which is a pity because the beddings are better than Princess and Norwegians in our experience.  We also got a 20% rebate automatically because we did not go to the last port due to the problem of one of the four engines.

We will be very happy if the stateroom window frames are not rusted because the room is really kept very clean by the staff.

Ship tip

Eating at the special restaurant and dinner room is more enjoyable than the cafeteria.
