We had a great time celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary on the Grand Princess. Her crew contributed immeasurably to our enjoyment of the event.

Dining room and Crown Grill meals were very good, but the desserts rarely tasted quite as good as they looked. Alfredo's had one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, only wish they offered more meat (sausage) choices. Club Class dining was spectacular. The three meals we ate at the buffet were so-so at best.
Onboard Activities

Didn't use, but they were available and appeared to be in good shape. It was generally too cold to use the pools, and I was too lazy to use the fitness center. (It was a vacation, after all!)
Entertainment

The shows in the main theater on three nights were comedy/magicians which were not so comic and definitely not magic.
Service and Staff

Crew were all friendly, cheerful, helpful, and efficient. Can't ask for more than that. The Club Class dining room people were outstanding.

The ship, although showing some signs of her age, was clean, well maintained, and functioned well.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our mini-suite was spotless, and stayed that way throughout the trip. Plenty of room to stretch out. The refrigerator wasn't working on embarkation day, but was replaced the next morning.
Although I grew up on the city, I now find it an unpleasant mess. We went directly to the dock when we departed, and directly home when the trip was over.
