This is my second adventure on Princess Cruise line and I am very satisfied with their services and comforts. I will be taking more trips with them in the future gladly. Aboard ship all that I have to have in my pockets is my boarding card. It is the closest thing to Utopia that I can imagine. Great job Captain, you have a magnificent crew and staff.
Embarkation

interminable traffic on the approach and lines to be logged in made it difficult for me. In other words "getting there is difficult for both of my cruises.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
In a word, magnificent. From well prepared breakfast foods with endless variety to elegant dining to include fine cuisine and everything in between available was an adventure in itself.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The few we were able to participate in were excellent. As we continue future cruises I would have no doubt all the other offerings would be comparable.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Great shows, good dancers comedians and actors.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Some better than others but all were excellent. A standout pair were Ronaldo and Zana in one of the restaurants. Outstanding service, entertaining and joyful personalities. Maria, our room steward, A622 took very good care of our room.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Having spent time aboard ships in service to the United States of America I was impressed with the ongoing process of maintenance program underway. Our room, balcony, passageways and deck hardware on our daily walks around the Promenade were a pleasure to the eye and and indication of good management of this beautiful ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

Tight quarters but adequate for all our belongings. Clean well placed conveniences and a very good bed. Missed my home pillows though.
Ship tip
Drive south on the Embarcadero and make a u-turn to the entrance.
We did not do an excursion. We took a cab for the day from inside the compound so felt comfortable with the driver as we were checked out and back into the loading dock through guards. We had a great 4 hours of touring all of the highlights of a beautiful city and tropical forests. The stop at Mr. Toquilla with a free margarita was fun. all for $60+tip. Would do it again with Manuel.
Too hot, too many vendors but some good rustic city highlights walking the main streets. The ice cream there is soooo good. Don't pay full price. Expect to pay 40 - 50% less than asking.
Took the Hop on-Hop off tour that was handy to see all the available sights. got a good number of shots of the diver plummeting to the sea from 50'. Very industrial area near the docks. Wish there was a tour of the Corona brewery.
Didn't like that the Hop-on Hop-off bus picked us up dock side then dropped us off outside next to a vendor arcade. Don't pay full price. Expect to pay 40 - 50% less than asking.Another very hot city with 90% humidity. Yikes!
We walked to town and had a great time with many shops, restaurants and open air bars to hang out. At all these stops the street vendors are incessant barterers. Don't pay full price. Expect to pay 40 - 50% less than asking.
Love the Grand, my 1st trip was with my beautiful mother to the Mexican Revera. Amazing adventures swam with the dolphins in Cabot. My second Grand cruise was to Alaska. My mother passed away and we were able to throw her ashes off the back of the boat in Alaskan Waters. My third was back to the Mexican Riviera with my partner his first cruise and we had an amazing time. In Puerto Vallarta we went to the tequila factory and four-wheel drive to the waterfalls. Leaving in 13 days for a 15-day Hawaiian Cruise so excited I can't wait.
