Review summary

Our 10-day cruise to Mexico aboard the Grand Princess was fantastic. We have been on this itinerary several times with several cruise lines, but this was the best experience. The Ship is mid-size so that it's not too big or too small. Plenty of activities when we wanted to do something; plenty of chairs if we didn't. The best of the trip was the service. After cruising about 15 times, this was by far the best service. Even in the buffet area (which had great food all day long), you never needed to lift a finger, the staff would come to you asking if you needed anything. The only negatives were that the ship is a little on the older side (1998) and is starting to show its age. The bed in the stateroom was not comfortable. But that is not a reason to think twice about taking a cruise on this ship.

All travel destinations should have this level of service.

Cabin was nice. The steward was fantastic. The bed comfort is the only drawback.

Ship tip

One of the best cruises i've ever been on.

Hi there! My husband and I will be taking the same trip in November, we are in our late 40s and was wondering what activities on board you'd recommend. Also do you have any recommendations for the different ports? Thanks so much 😊
